The project concerns process support and citizen participation for wind power zoning in Rechnitz
and Schachendorf. Its aim is to accompany the zoning process both communicatively and
technically, create transparency, identify conflict potentials at an early stage and develop a jointly
prepared rough concept for compensatory measures as a basis for further spatial planning work.

Green Connections is a cross-border Interreg project on nature-based solutions and sustainable
agriculture in the Austrian-Hungarian border region. Its aim is to strengthen biodiversity
protection in agricultural landscapes through monitoring, knowledge transfer, demonstration sites
and environmental education, while linking research, farming practice and public participation
more closely.
